Product review: Holika Holika - Cleansing

Below are some of Holika Holika's cleansing products that I have used. I bought a lot of them when I was living in Seoul for 19months when I was studying in Seoul. here they are:

1. Soda Pore Cleansing Water.

There is a little tablet in blue and you pop it in the bottle. After a while, it will fizzle out. Use it for cleaning light make up. For heavy make up, it is not sufficent, however, if you have use a cream base cleanser to clean face and need to clean a little more and remove the oil residue, this pore cleansing water will be best. It is refreshing and leaves a very clean feel.

2. Magic Salt Deep Cleansing foam

This is foam base and with little bits in the creamy foam. It has a little exforliating feel to it. Leaves your skin super clean and smooth feel. Able to remove thick make-up so it is quite good. :P

3. Magic Salt Deep Cleansing cream

Magic Salt Deep cleansing cream has the same little bits like Magic Salt Deep cleansing form. Except it is a cream base for removing heavy make-up. it is effective for even some of the tough make-up and at the same time, it does not dry up the skin. Only down fall for me is I have oily base skin on the surface so it feels a little oily for me but it is still good.

Disclaimer: I am not a professional blogger. I write for leisure and these are all in my opinion and reviews of stuff I have used.

Just a prologue

In my opinion, I believe to a certain percentage, a job will be offered to you by the way your good looks and speak during the interview.

I went for an interview in a position with no relevant experience and all they said was they are willing to train, but have to meet you first.

It was way too obvious that they just wanted to see how you look like. And if you do not look good, chances you won't be selected.

In some countries, excellent pleasant features play an important part of getting the job. Typically in the North Asian Countries. I believe locally this does happens but it is not too obvious.

This is what precisely I why I have decided to show here in my blog and a few other things (nonsensical... hahaha!). For many years, I have wanted to be in the sales industry and have tried many ways to get into the industry but to no avail. When I was younger and first started in a job, this employer told me this:

"You are not pretty enough to do sales. The 2 new sales manager I hired will sell better because of the way they look."

"You are only good for answering phone enquiries."

I worked in the day and studied in the nights to get myself a sales & marketing diploma and a double degree in e-commerce and marketing. And did not and never had any chance in doing sales or ever putting in good use of whatever I am learning...

WHY ? ! LOOKS SELL !

Moral of the story? You must have looks.

'Nuff said.

P/S: I have poor skin complexion. Oily, acned-scarred face with some pitted scars, super flat nose. And due to the way the Korean Plastic Surgeon lasered on my face, had ruined my face and it had super large pores, railway tracks on my forehead, deep nasolabial folds, severe black eye bags now exists... I can't even compare myself with the skin of an orange peel now...
