Zeltiq - CoolSculpting: Personal Review

you wanna know the truth?!

I'll tell you... on 20 April 2013, I went for my 1st 2 cycles. I have a 36" waist prior to the procedure.

Today is 25 June 2013, I still have the 36" waist.

1 cycle of cool Zeltig generally cost SGD900 subject to consultation fees of SGD50 to SGD100, depending on which clinic you go. oh yes! Singapore clinics charges a fee some high some low, for just plain consulting what you want to do. They are NON-refundable!

Questions:
1. Is it effective? NO, definitely NO!
2. Is it cheap?! HELL NO!

Moral of the story - if you really want to remove that bulge, one and only way is LIPOSUCTION. otherwise, employ a trainer and train everyday for 4-5 hours.

Cool Zeltiq is very expensive, it is for those rich socialites to just do touch up on their body contour. It is a ongoing procedure where you rest for 2 months, and continue with the next cycle. and in between the cycles, you need to go on a very strict dieting programme and work hand in hand with a strict exercise routine.

Here's the equation (Combination) WITHOUT going under the knife:

Dieting pills (with essential vitamins) + strict diet meals + strict exercise routine + Cool Zeltiq = slim down

Please note, there is cost at every component. Your exercise with trainer can easily cost SGD5,000 (includes gym membership and trainer fees), CoolZeltiq every 2 months will cost SGD1,800 (at least for 6 cycles, hence SGD1,800 x 3 = SGD5,400), and lastly, Diet meals and pills will be around SGD2,000.

Combination cost about USD9,600
1 time Liposuction = USD6,000
Difference = USD3,600

If done in Seoul, South Korea for about USD6,000 (not including airfare/accommodations, of course you enjoy touring there too!

If done in Singapore for about SGD4,971 for vaser liposuction or liposelection - price taken from Singapore Lipo, Body & Face centre)

Without going under the knife:
Pros = no pain
Cons = time factor, probably 1 to 2 years, MONEY!, miserable diet meals, going to the gym to train.

Going under the knife:
Pros = within a week the fat’s GONE! no diet meals, no going to the gym
Cons = recovery period requires another 6 mths

Depending on which clinic you go to, the prices are subjective.

I have 2 more cycles in JULY 2013 and I went to Chelsea, the doctor and nurses are really nice. However, my fat cells are just not disappearing.

I have not gone for lipo, but considering. I have currently wasted SGD3,600 on 4 cycles of Cool Zeltiq. I should have use this SGD3,600 to pay for part of the lipo instead.

Now the golden question is, why do it?! Because I lived in Asia, LARGE clothes in Asia are actually hard to find. so looking for XL or XXL will be difficult. actually extremely difficult.

Below pictures show you when I am in the procedure and also the Cool Zeltiq equipment, suction container/ machine
Seating in a dentist like chair. there will be 2 surgical napkins to make sure that the cool gel will not stain your clothing
Size of the suction. 40mm and 52mm
the is the machine that will be "sucking" out the fat cells or rather melting it away.

Plastic Surgery at JW Plastic Surgery

I am not pretty. I have super flat nose bridge, in fact, I have no nose bridge. Tired skin due to over lasered and extremely large pores from the over laser too...

Well I went to Seoul, South Korea and did it with JW Plastic Surgery Korea.

Oct 15, 2012, 8:47pm

I have attached my pics. not sure anyone interested. well, did not plan for the nose only planned for the face graft and filler but because the doctor suggested dermis fat instead of silicon due to thin skin and narrow nose bridge, hence dermis fat is safe and alright.

I went in at about 12.45pm and came out about 3.45pm, super thirsty and they told me to sleep... but i wanted water... they said sleep 30mins first then 30mins later the cordinator came in with a cup of water....and explained to me about my meds...

I took subway there and subway back. 1 trip is about 30mins from where I live in Sinchon. Clinic is in Apgujeong - JW Plastic Surgery, Yumi is their english speaking Marketing Executive. Super nice, she took care of my sister and brought her to lunch. forgot to ask about when to remove stitches but will have to go back on Wednesday.

after which i went shopping with that face to buy juice, can't find pumpkin juice so i drunk kiwi, (bought strawberry, orange, tomato juice) and vitamin C dissolve tabs. after which, I drank milk with protein shake. now not hungry just super thirsty so drink water. :)

I still have no idea how I would look like, this is the bad thing about going to JW Plastic Surgery. However, I was sure that safety was primary there.
